Friends you can count on

My brother is currently in a lot of pain with inflamed and aching joints an immensely swollen foot and ankle and restricted arm mobility. Two weeks ago he woke up and couldn’t move. Overwhelmed with fear of the unknown and a body that felt on fire he posted his situation to Facebook and said he could barely move to get to the doctor. A friend immediately said he’d be over to drive him to the doctor. Another friend said he’d take him home. Being over 160 miles away in another state I’m so incredibly grateful to my brother’s friends who responded so quickly to  get him help and be there for him...physically and emotionally. He had blood tests and X-rays taken and a few days later another set of blood tests. His diagnosis is still unknown but he is taking a special antibiotic for possible Lyme disease and is on pain meds. His symptoms could also mean rheumatoid arthritis.  While we wait for answers and say prayers I am thankful for the kind and swift actions of his friends to get him to and from the medical care he needs.
